Alkmini & Sasha Chaitow
Her periodically updated blog, Alkmini’s Corfu, features a variety of anecdotes, memories, recipes and other tidbits about her home island of Corfu.
When not looking after the family and providing invaluable support to both Leon and Sasha’s endeavours, Alkmini can usually be found nurturing and cultivating her glorious garden, a true haven of tranquility for the whole Chaitow family.
Sasha moonlights as a web-designer, copy-writer, and event organiser (from academic conferences to rock concerts.) She owns and curates a boutique gallery in Corfu, ICON, specialising in Greek sacred and heraldic art.
Sasha recently completed her PhD at the University of Essex, where she explored the intersection between art and the occult as found in the work of the singular Joséphin Péladan. More on this in her research diary here. Her intellectual biography of Péladan is currently in press. She has a number of articles in press and in print on this and other topics relating to culture, art, and esotericism.
